Buddhism Meditation

Guided by the Senior Tibetan Buddhist Monk Thupten Lodey, this is a rare opportunity to have an intimate mediation experience with a Senior Tibetan monk.

Senior Tibetan Buddhist Monk Thupten Lodey was born in Tibet in 1957. He took novice ordination in 1967 and full ordination in 1977. He received the Gyugchenpa degree in 1979 and was Dean of Gyuto Monastery in 1984 and 1993. In 1994, he travelled to Australia with a group of monks to create the first Tibetan sand mandala in the Southern Hemisphere. He moved to Australia in1998 and founded the Tibetan Ancient Ritual Arts Centre (WA), which later, with blessings from his Holiness the Dalai Lama, became Phendheling Tibetan Buddhist Centre. He has been teaching there since then.
